How much does the English for IT exam cost?

How much does the training course cost?

• The training course is provided by Cisco and is completely free. Click here to create an account (if you don’t already have one) and sign up to the English for IT course, as well as other courses available from Cisco Skills for All.

How do I schedule an exam?

• Click this link to schedule an exam. You can select a day and time that works for you.

Is the exam proctored?

• The English for IT exam is AI-proctored, meaning that an AI system will monitor your session and flag any suspicious behavior, which will then be reviewed by a qualified human proctor.

When will I get my results?

• If the AI detects no suspicious behavior, you will receive your exam results immediately. If a human needs to check the session, then there will be a delay of up to 48 hours before receiving your results.

Can I retake the exam if I fail it?

• Yes, you can. However, you must wait seven days before you can retake the exam. We suggest that you study the areas that you found difficult while you wait.

What will I get after I pass the exam?

• After passing the exam, you will receive a digital certificate and a Credly’s Digital Badge. The certificate will indicate that you have passed the English for IT exam, evaluated to the Common European Framework Reference level of B2, and the Global Scale of English level of 59-75.

• If you are an individual test taker, you can take the exam through Cisco by clicking this link. You need to create an account and sign up for the English for IT course. At the end of the course, there is a link to take the exam.

What is the passing score?

• You need to achieve at least 70% in each of the three sections in order to pass the English for IT exam.
