Questions from institutions

Can we use English for IT alongside our existing teaching?

The courses are available for self-study or instructor-led delivery. Review the syllabus and sample materials to assess how they could complement your English lessons or technical programs.

We already use Cisco Networking Academy. Why consider Edube?

English for IT learning opportunities are available through NetAcad. OpenEDG’s Edube versions contain additional exercises and are tailored to English for IT certification preparation. The free institutional evaluation lets you assess the Edube materials and teaching tools.

Does completing a course award certification?

Course completion and certification are separate achievements. Certification requires passing a separately purchased exam.

A2 and B1 exams assess use of English, listening, reading, writing, and speaking. B2 assesses use of English, listening, and reading.

Can we keep our evaluation classrooms when we move to paid access?

Yes. Your existing classrooms and enrolled students remain in the same institutional account when a paid subscription is activated. There is no need to recreate your evaluation classrooms.

How do institutions purchase courses and exams?

For course delivery beyond the free evaluation, we’ll help you choose course access and the classroom subscription needed to manage your learners. Certification exams can be purchased separately without a classroom subscription.

Education-sector offers are available. Tell us your preferred level, approximate learner numbers, intended start date, and whether you need courses, exams, or both. Our team will prepare a quotation for your institution.
